My Strawbery Chips Almond Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients:

 Ingredient A
1 ¼ cups self raising flour
½ cups cocoa powder
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon soda

Ingredient B
1 cup NESTUM
1 ½ cup strawberry chocolate chips
1 cup sliced almonds
150g butter/marjerin
100g brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Method:

  1. Sift ingredients A together, then stir in ingredient B, mix well, set aside.
  2. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla essence, mix well.
  3. Fold in flour mixture, mix well.
  4. Scoop a teaspoonful of mixture onto lightly greased oven trays.Allow room for the dough to spread.
  5. Bake in pre-heated oven at 170 C for 15-minutes or until golden brown.
NOTE:
 
  1. This recipe is my own concoction, mix and match from the NESTUM cookies recipes in Malaysian Women Weekly.
  2. Gambar tak cantik, al-maklum cuma guna my Nokia E71...tengah cari camera. Mine dah rosak about 1 year dah, belum cari ganti!!!

My Pecan Treasure Log Cookies

Bahan-bahan:
Bahan A

2 cawan tepung gandum
¼ camca teh serbuk penaik
1 cawan NESTUM
1 cawan cincangan buah campuran

Bahan B
100g butter/marjerin
50g cawan gula perang halus
1 biji telur saiz A
1 camca the esen vanila

Bahan C
1 biji telur dipukul sebati
Coklat urai
Kacang Pecan (whole)

Cara-caranya:
  1. Panaskan oven ke suhu 180C.
  2. Ayak tepung dan serbuk penaik. Campur dan gaul rata bahan A ke dalam mangkuk.Ketepikan.
  3. Dalam mangkuk lain krimkan butter/marjerin dengan gula sehingga ringan dan fluffy.
  4. Masukkan bahan A dan kaup dan balikkan sehingga rata.
  5. Bahagikan doh kepada 4 bahagian yang sama. Canaikan
  6. dan atur pecan kemudian gulung doh ke bentuk silinder. Sapu telur kepada silinder doh dan gelekkan dengan coklat urai sehingga rata.
  7. Bungkus doh dalam kertas kalis minyak dan sejukkan dalam peti sejuk selama 1 jam.Ulang dengan baki doh tadi.
  8. Keluarkan doh silinder dan potong setebal 2 cm dan letak di atas tin pembakar yg telah di lenser.
  9. Bakar selama 10-15 minit atau sehingga golden brown

NOTE :
 
  1. Another one of my mix and match recipe. I named it Pecan treasure log since the pecan nut is hidden in the log – silinder.
  2. The pecan can be seen at the heart of the cookies surrounded with gems – the mixed fruits!! When the log is sliced…

My Laksa Johor

Laksa Johor....ignore tha hand!!!....
Bahan-bahan Laksa:

2 bungkus spagheti (500g) direbus dgn sedikit garam tos dan gaulkan dengan minyak zaiton

Bahan-bahan Kuah:
Bahan A
3 biji bawang besar merah sederhana besar
1 inci Lengkuas
2 batang serai
Belacan
10 biji cili kering
5 biji cili merah
½ inci kunyit
1 packet serbuk kari ikan kering - I used Adabi

Bahan B
250gm isi udang
5 keping Ikan kurau/tenggiri asin
2 sudu besar udang kering
500g isi ikan parang/tenggiri rebus
1 kiub ikan bilis tanpa MSG

Daun kesom – agak2 ler
2 keping asam keping utk kuah
500g santan
1 packet instant paste Laksa Johor- any brand
100g kerisik
Garam & Gula
7 keping asam keping utk rebus ikan

Cara-caranya buat kuah:
  1. Rebus ikan tenggiri dgn 7 keping asam keping dan sedikit gula melaka dan garam hingga masak. Sejukkan dan buang tulang.
  2. Bahan A di blend dengan 1/2 litre air hingga halus dan masukkan dalam periuk.
  3. Blend bahan B pula dengan 1/2 litre air , dan masukkan jugak dalam periuk dan pasang api.
  4. Kacau then masukkan asam keping.
  5. Terus kacau hingga mendidih dan masukkan daun kesum dan kerisik, kacau hingga sebati.
  6. Masukkan santan dan kacau lagi.
  7. Bila mendidih lagi sekali, masukkan instant paste Laksa Johor dan kacau hingga sebati.
  8. Rasa dulu dan jika belum cukup berperisa tambahkan gula/gula melaka dan garam secukup rasa.
  9. Boleh tambah air jika kuah terlalu pekat.
Bahan-bahan Ulam:

1 biji timun buang empulur dan hiris nipis
2 cawan taugeh buang ekor
1/2 cawan lobak asin dicincang
2 ulas bawang besar merah dimayang dan cincang halus
Daun kesum, daun selasih dihiris/mayang
5 biji limau kasturi belah 2.
Sambal belacan.

Cara-cara potong timun:

Timun buang kulit potong dua dan belah.
Buang empulur menggunakan sudu kecil.
Hiris sederhana tebal
Belah dua hirisan tadi, berhati2
supaya tak patah!!






Biar jadi macam ni sampai
ke hujung....
Tu dia..hasilnya yg kecik2 tu.....
NOTE:
  1. Rasa nak cuba buat laksa johor ni bila baca post disini Rima's Laksa Johor . So resepi ni I olah from the blog tu.
  2. Jenuh cari Laksa Johor instant paste tu, jumpa kat Giant Puchong...Ikan Brand!
  3. Cara potong timun tu, cara I ler.Not sure how johorian do it....ada caranya belum belajar!!!

My Puding Trifle Pasang Siap

Ingredients:
1 pack of Caramel Classics White Wings brand or any brand of ready   made custard!
2 packs of Rasberry or Strawberry Kristal Jelly - I used Nona brand
1 block of Chocolate Cake or Kek gulung cokelat (1 roll) - Sliced
1 cup or less sweet corn - use the cream one!
1 cup of fruit cocktail - strained/ditos

Method:
  1. Susun sliced cakes in the bottom of the acuan. Tekan-tekan sikit.
  2. Tabur fruit cocktail evenly.Set aside.
  3. Prepare jelly by following the instructions on the box.
  4. Tuangkan jelly mixture slowly on to the sliced cakes and fruit cocktail so that the cakes tak timbul!.
  5. Set aside to harden and meanwhile prepare the caramel mixture as instructed adding the sweet corn at the end.
  6. Slowly spread the caramel custard on to the jelly.
NOTE:
  1. I made this during raya open house of my office, last year!.
  2. Alhamdulillah they liked it..

My Black Pepper Seafood Pasta

Bahan-bahan:
2 packs of Perencah Berlada Hitam maggi mixed with 1 cup of water
1 pack of Mix Seafood - frozen (Jusco ada)
3-4 balls of sotong ball or prawn ball or fish ball (I used IBU brand) - dry blend
1 large onions - sliced or chooped ikut kerajinan!
1 cup of button mushrooms or Mixed veggie
1 teaspoon corn flour mixed with 1 cup of water
1 pack of pasta - any kind!
Olive oil to stir fry
Salt & Sugar to taste

Cara-cara:
  1. Boil water to cook the pasta. When cooked, angkat dan toskan
  2. In a wok, fry the slice onions then add the blended seafood balls.Agak2 ler berapa lama! 
  3. Add the black pepper paste, kacau and add corn flour mixture when the back pepper paste dah menggelegak.
  4. Add the seafood mixture and salt and sugar to taste.
  5. Ready to eat!!!!
